When an active domain expires, it could still be renewed by its present owner for about 2 months following the expiration and despite the fact that it will not be active, it cannot be obtained by someone else. When the domain name is not renewed by that moment, however, it gets into a 5-day deletion time frame and after that it is available to the public. During the deletion period everyone will be able to submit a backorder for the domain name through an ICANN-approved registrar and the service provider will use its registry channel to make an effort to register the domain name on behalf of the user immediately after it's available. As numerous registrars may try to acquire a particular domain and names are acquired on first-come, first-serve basis, there's no guarantee that using such a computerized service will grant you possession over it, however this is the easiest way to get an appealing domain name because trying to register it personally almost certainly means that you will be way too late.

Domain Backorder in Semi-dedicated Servers

We have decided to add a domain name backorder service to the Hepsia Control Panel which is provided with all semi-dedicated server accounts, so you won't need to sign up for a different platform. The service will permit you to register a domain name and host it from a single place. All of the domains planned to be erased in the following days will be placed in the Backorder part of Hepsia and you will be able to browse them from a to z. To reduce the number, you will be able to search by a particular phrase, set the minimum and maximum number of characters your domain should contain, and choose a specific extension. You will also be able to browse domains by the date they will be deleted. As there is no 100% guarantee that we shall be able to register a specific domain, if our attempt is unsuccessful, the money for that domain name will be available as a credit inside your account and will not be lost.

Domain Backorder in VPS Servers

The billing Control Panel of our VPS servers contains a domain backorder area where you shall find all of the domain names which will be deleted within the next several days. We can offer this service because we partner with an ICANN-authorized company and we offer very inexpensive prices. The list inside the Control Panel features all domain names scheduled to be erased and you could use filters and choose the deletion date, minimum and maximum length and the extension of the domains that will be shown. You will also be able to narrow the list of domain names by specifying if they should include only dictionary words or a particular word/phrase that you pick. The money for any unsuccessful registration attempt will be deposited to your billing account and you'll be able to use it for any other domain or web hosting service.

Domain Backorder in Dedicated Servers

If you have a dedicated server from our company, you shall be able to backorder a domain directly from your billing Control Panel and will not have to register for a different platform as we partner with an ICANN-approved registrar. An entire section in the Control Panel is focused on this particular service and you'll find a list of all domains scheduled to be erased there. Using the filters that we have added for your convenience, you can select to see domains from a particular date, to define the maximum and minimum length and to select an extension, thus narrowing the list you will have to go through. You may also enter a certain phrase or select to view domains which contain dictionary words and are not only a random combination of letters and numbers. It takes only a mouse click to order any domain from the list and if we are unable to register it before somebody else does that, you won't lose your money as it will be added as a credit to your account.
